THANKSGIVING & GEORGIA

On Wednesday night I hitched a ride with my friend and neighbor Anne Marie and headed to Georgia to spend Thanksgiving with my good friends Chad and Candy Pearsons. We went to Candy’s sisters house and I got to experience a real southern Thanksgiving. Georgia was really cold, a lot colder than I am used…

I LIVE IN NASHVILLE!

So on Monday morning at 3am I said good bye to my home in California, loaded my Honda Civic with everything that I could fit (you would be surprised what you can fit in a Civic) and started to make the drive to Nashville. It took about 29hrs of straight driving to make it out to Nashville. We arrived at about 5 in the afternoon on Tuesday… So as of Tuesday at 5pm I officially live in Nashville Tennessee.

ONE WEEK LEFT AND A FEW OTHER UPDATES

If I haven’t mentioned it before, I am moving to Nashville. I have about a week left in California before I load everything that I can fit into my 1998 honda civic and make the 2,200 mile trip, and I have to say that I am excited, nervous, anxious, scared and all of the above. I’ve never lived anywhere els or started over somewhere els before, I have always had the comfort of my family and friends to surround me. Its definitely a weird feeling knowing that in just a week I am going to be in a entirely new environment away from everything that is familiar.

Things that have happened in the last couple of weeks prior to leaving…

Ordered a new bike, track bikes rule!!!

got a new digital slr camera (well, its used but new to me)

started a new business

threw out a lot of stuff (I never realized how much of a pack rat I was)

got my car all fixed up

Things I am excited for…

cheap flights to NY!

snow

riding my new bike that is waiting for me in nashville

bongo java

painting  and taking lots of photos with my new camera
