Meet Jeff and Eric, my companions on my European journey.

Day 1:
Was spent mostly traveling on a plane, I didn’t freak out as much as I thought I was going to. I had never been on a plane longer than 6 hours, so I swear I was going to end up running down the aisle screaming “We’re all going to die, this plane is going down!” but I spent most of my time just watching movies. Confessions of a shopaholic is a horrible movie by the way.
Day 2:
After the long plane ride and lack of sleep (about 24 hrs of no sleep), Eric and I headed straight to downtown London and met up with my old roommate Josh Peters (see photo). Josh lives in London now and works for a church called Oasis in the downtown area. He was gracious enough to let us sleep for a couple of hours on some big bean bags and then gave us a quick tour of the city once he got off of work. We spent most of the afternoon walking around snapping photos and and asking Josh every question imaginable about London. He has done it all before so the quick tour we got was pretty pro.
London is a wonderful place, it’s like everything that I had imagined it to be. There are so many people riding around on bikes and scooters, public transportation is amazing. Cars have the right of way so you have to be carful not to get hit when walking across the street, they don’t stop for anything. There are fixed gear bikes everywhere! I was kinda surprised by that. Josh says that London is mostly flat so you can get around on a bike really easily, as long as you don’t get run over of course. After our tour we headed to Josh’s place for dinner. Josh was gracious enough to let us crash at his place and spend the weekend at his house. He has a great place with four other guys in a small town called Camberwell, about a 5 minute train ride from downtown.
Tomorrow we meet up with Jeff who broke off for the day to visit his daughter who lives in England. I think we are going to head downtown again and spend the day being tourist.

I must say that I am a horrible blogger, and what makes it worst is that I keep saying I’m going be better about it but have yet to follow through. I guess my digital life has been on hold lately for the reality of the real one going on around me.
The last couple of weeks have been a great way to kick off the summer and get things going right. I took a trip back to California to see my family, go to a wedding and hang out with friends. It was a great week just spent hanging out and being mellow, I didn’t get to go surfing but there weren’t any waves that week to be missed out on so it wasn’t that bad. While I was there I found out that I’m going to Europe in July which is super exciting. Considering I have never been over seas before. I can’t wait!
Upon return from my week long stay I came home only to find out that Media Kamp ( the company I own) was going to loose one of our biggest clients, but after a couple of days of freaking out, I learned how amazing Gods grace is in my life. I will say that even when I don’t feel close to him he is always there, always inspiring, always giving, and always providing for me in ways that I can never fully grasp. Even when I don’t look to God for answers he still gives them to me…
And it just keeps getting better. The following weeks have been spent making some great new friends and building better relationships with old ones here in Nashville. Roller skating, pool time, birthdays (happy birthday Brent!) and dance parties have filled the last couple of weeks. Not to mention all the extra design work that has come in out of what seems like no where. It seems like this is going to be an amazing summer of growth for me and I must say that I am really excited about it!
Oh and I do have a sweet mustache now (I’ll post some picks of it when I get a chance).
